| bbs | (บีบีเอส) ย่อมาจาก bulletin board system หรือที่แปลว่า ระบบแผงข่าว เป็นโปรแกรมหนึ่งที่ทำหน้าที่เก็บรายการ หัวข้อ หรือข้อมูลที่เป็นที่สนใจ ผู้ที่ต้องการทราบข้อมูลเหล่านี้ อาจจะโทรศัพท์ผ่านเข้าเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์เพื่อขอคัดลอกแฟ้มข้อมูล หรือสอบถามข้อความ ก็ได้ เช่น บีบีเอสของมหาวิทยาลัยก็อาจมีประกาศต่าง ๆ เช่น ประกาศรับสมัครนิสิตเข้าเรียนในระดับต่าง ๆ ปฏิทินการศึกษา รายการกีฬา ฯ ผู้ใช้บริการจะต้องมีคอมพิวเตอร์และโมเด็มพร้อมกับโปรแกรมที่จำเป็น ถ้าเป็นเรื่องที่เกี่ยวกับข้อมูลสำคัญในทางธุรกิจ จะมีการเรียกเก็บค่าบริการด้วย (มีใช้เฉพาะในระบบเครือข่าย) |
